New forms

This year I have added a new form to the mix - these enable the customer to use them as functional objects because they can hold water. The form is usually porous like all smokefired work, but I spent the winter experimenting with sealants. These have all been treated with a concrete worktop sealant called H-Seal - which works brilliantly and is also foodsafe. I am recommending customers retreat every few years to be sure. I have always been a bit envious of potters who can display flowers with their work, so I am really pleased that I will be able to do the same this year!
