First sail
The first sail of the year is always a bit nerve wracking. Jules and I have over 50 thousand nautical miles of combined sailing experience. The thing is, that experience mainly tells you that there is nothing like a bit of complacency to bit you in the backside. Obviously, after not having been on a boat for about seven months, you have to "remember" how to do everything, so slow and deliberate is the order of the day. Anyway, after setting out all super cautious, everthing felt just about as natural as you would expect. By the time we got back in and tied up, we more or less felt qualified again.... Anyway, here is a video of Temptress having a good time on her first sail of 2015. Please note the North Sea is a fetching shade of brown....
