My ceramics are rooted in a lifelong fascination with the natural world and the quiet beauty of weathered or abandoned landscapes.
My connection with landscape as been shaped over many years living, visiting and sailing in remote locations. These experiences have fostered an appreciation for shifts in light and weather and the patterns created by natural forces. The huge scale and power of these places has given me an appreciation of our fleeting presence. These things continue to influence both the forms I make and the surfaces I develop.
My studio is based in coastal Suffolk on quiet peninsula surrounded by water. Studio visits are welcome by appointment.
